Love this place! Friday and Saturday is $3 Red Oak and $5 Espolon, which is right up mine and my fiance's alley. We love the low key atmosphere, the popcorn machine, and the service! Tavern Law has numerous TVs playing sports, great bartenders, and a really great atmosphere! The outdoor/indoor bar seats are a great plus too! Sit on the sidewalk and sip!

I love Tavern! 5 or so years ago my life long friend John started it as Tavern on 2nd (almost positive that was the name). He passed away and his partner and best friend kept it going. When I go down town that's my first stop. I'll always love the place no matter who and what is there. Check it out and you'll be pleased!!

Downtown Wilmington's refreshing break from the shoulder-to-shoulder, noise polluted, high priced monotony that is typically found downtown. Owned and operated by some of the best people you'll likely ever meet. Definitely worth a visit or twelve!

So. I showed up and Chris (the bartender) was working on the music. Either way. I am never disappointed by this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. Just a chill place to hang out and grab a local beer with friends. I just keep coming back for more.

Always have the best experience at tavern law especially when Haley is working! She makes the best bloody Mary’s in downtown Wilmington and there only $5 on Sundays! Haley will make sure you have the best time!
